Are you responsible for how well my website performs?

To be blunt, no. So we are only the designers for your website... The performance of your website, sales and traffic wise is all up to you. A website or store lacking in sales or traffic can be due to many factors including: How you are marketing your brand and website, the popularity and demand of your business, the quality of your brand or products, the size of your business, lack of spreading the word about your website and business, poor use of social media, expensive service or products... There can be many factors as to why your website isn't performing well. As your website designers, we make sure the website has been designed professionally and done in a way where this is optimised for all devices. As well as making the website look amazing, we will make this easy to use, practical and eye catching. We would do everything we can to make sure you get the best website possible and one that not only helps sell your brand but attracts more customers to your website. We dont take any responsibility for any websites that are under performing, because there are so many other factors first, that can come into play when a website is lacking in sales or traffic.

How long does a website take to make?

This purely depends on two things. How quick you are in having everything ready for us, and the complexity of your website and how many pages it has. All websites are designed via coding or it being manually laid out, so this will take time in itself. So to speed things up, make sure you are quick at replying and make sure you have all of your content and imagery at the ready. The timeframe for each website is displayed on our website design & development page.

What are your working times?

Our design times are currently Monday to Friday - 9am to 11pm, and all day on the weekends. This is due to us being involved in many large projects throughout the day, we tend to do all of our website design work in the evenings and weekends.

I don't like my website, can I ask you to re-design it?

Of course! Your website is your website, and you have already paid us for a website design service. We will design the webstie how we would like it to look and feel, with input from yourself. But if for any reason you do not like the work that we have done, we can always start rom scratch or re-design the things that you do not like.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for search engine optimization. Which is the art of ranking high on a search engine in the unpaid section, also known as the organic listings. The performance of your website being listed on search engines, will and can take a lot of time. This all depends on the popularity of your business, the demand and the number of searches your business or location has. All of our websites come SEO enabled and are all optimised for being listed on search engines. Alright, let’s translate that to English. Here’s our go at it: Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing your online content so that a search engine likes to show it as a top result for searches of a certain keyword. Let us break that down even further: When it comes to SEO, there’s you, the search engine, and the searcher. If you have an article about how to make vegan lasagna, you want the search engine (which, in 90% of all cases, is Google) to show it as a top result to anyone who searches for the phrase “vegan lasagna.” SEO is the magic you have to work on your article in order to make Google very likely to include your post as one of the top results whenever someone searches for that keyword.

What is Analytics?

Web analytics is the collection, reporting, and analysis of website data. The focus is on identifying measures based on your organizational and user goals and using the website data to determine the success or failure of those goals and to drive strategy and improve the user’s experience. In English? Okay... Basically in a but shell, analytics will show you how your website is performing. How many clicks you get, how many buttons get pressed and when, how many people add your products to the cart, how many people are on your website at live time... This is a great way of tracking customers usage information on your website. You can then take this information and improve on the areas that are not getting enough traffic or clicks.

What is Traffic?

In simple terms, traffic means the amount of people that view your website. You have 2 kinds of website traffic or traffic in general that comes to your website. Organic traffic - Meaning that these are people who are genuinely interested in your website and want to have a look at it. These people would of found your business via search engines or location tags. These are honest, normal views from the public entering your website. Organic traffic is the most important, as the people viewing your website will have a purpose of being on there. To either buy a product or to view your services. Paid traffic - This is done by paying for adverts that get shared on social media. Have you been scrolling through Facebook and you keep seeing Adverts pop up all the time? This is paid traffic. This is where you are paying someone or paying for a service where this directs customers to click on your website for a specific purpose. Wheter this is by accident, to look at a specific deal or to simply spread your brand and websites visibility to a mass audience. This isn't the best way to gain attraction to your website as people won't normally be serious buyers or they will only be on your website for a few minutes. Although this is the best and quickest way of getting your brand and website out there to a large audience.

My website isn't loading properly, and the layout is wrong?

This can happen from time to time... Totally normal. Please empty or delete the cache on the browser you are using, delete the history and refresh the page.. This should fix the issue! If this hasn't, please get in touch with us asap and we will get this sorted for you.

Can I edit the website myself?

Nope. Your website is designed and will only be designed by 1194 Creative. We cannot let an untrained person edit or touch the website for security and authentication reasons. At the bottom of all of our websites will be our design tag, if an untrained person alters the look of the website and it looks bad, this can have a negative effect on our brand. You won't be able to do this anyway as you will not be allowed back office access to your website.

You have designed my website a few years ago, it now looks out of date?

If you would like to have an update on a website you have had from us some time ago.. That is absolutely fine. Please let us know the things you would like updating and we will get this changed for you. Although, if you are looking for a totally new website, this will be chargeable.

Do you offer payment plans?

Sorry, no we do not. Payment must be paid in full before any work on your website begins.

Why do you charge extra for more pages and additional content?

This is all based on design time. We charge £40.00 per hour design time on anything we do. Once your website is live and complete, any additional work to it once its been connected will be chargeable.

Who owns my website

The ownership of your website will be with us. We will own your website and control it, you will only pay us to design your website. The reason for this is because if we let an untrained person control their website and somehow do something bad that impacts the look or performance of the website then that will have a negative impact on our brand. If you would like the website to be transferred over to you, this will be chargeable and we will take off our branding on your website.

Graphic Design & Logo FAQs

What happends if a design service takes less then an hour to produce? Will you offer a discount on your hourly rate?

No. We charge a strict flat rate for design time, the £40.00 an hour design cost is a minimal cost that is involved in all design work.

I don't like my logo, can I have a new one?

If we are in the first design stage/process and you do not like any of the logos that we have designed for you then please let us know and we will design some more options for you. Otherwise, if you had a design service from us a while ago and you were happy with your logo back then but want to change it now then this will be chargeable.

Are your logos templated? Does anyone else have my logo?

No, all design work is produced from scratch. You will not have the same logo as someone else as we custom design your logo specific for your brand and business. If you you have seen a logo that you really like and want, we can use this as inspiration for your logo but we cannot legally copy someone elses work.

Are all your design files print ready?

Not always, if you are looking to get something printed from something that we have designed, please let us know and we will send over the print ready file for you to use.

Will your hourly charge ever change?

This is very possible. Please note that this hourly charge is a from charge, meaning that we have the freedom to change this any time we see fit and the hourly charge can increase. Although this is something that we never have done, so we doubt this will happen.

Vehicles FAQs

My vehicle is dented slightly, will this be an issue?

If you are looking to get your vehicle wrapped then yes it will be. Please get this fixed before any work starts. If you are just having liveries on your vehicle, we can work around this. But please make sure that you are aware that the graphics may not look right when the panel is dented. Ideally, make sure all of your panels are flat and dent free.

Do you have a unit or an shelter when work is carried out incase it rains?

Yes we do, when we are wrapping. Otherwise, a home location with a driveway will be fine to use.

Can I see a visual mock up of my vehicle before any installation?

Yes! This is normal for us to provide visuals of what the vehicle will look like before the wrap/graphics are on. Please bare in mind that these are only visuals, and the final product can very rarely alter slightly from the mock up you have seen on screen. We always aim to get the graphics exactly like the visuals, but in some cases the positioning of graphics could alter slightly. If this happens, we will contact you first before putting the graphics on. If within the mock up stage you would like us to change anything, please let us know.

How long will the vinyl stick to my vehicle for?

This all depends on what type of vinyl we use and how well you protect it after we are finished installing. Most vehicle vinyls will last up to 5 years easily, but there can be a range between 2/8 years with vehicle vinyls as there are a variety of brands we can use. Once we go over everything with you on the consultation, we will let you know what brand vinyl we will use and how long you can expect it have it on the vehicle for. If you are wrapping the vehicle, providing you look after it, this will last until someone picks or peels the vinyl off.

Do you provide aftercare sheets for my new graphics?

Of course! Aftercare is extremely important with your new vehicle graphics. To maintain the best look and care for your vehicle graphics they need to be looked after and maintained properly to avoid any damage to the graphics. We will go over the aftercare sheet with you once the installation is finished.

Can you travel to my home or work to install the graphics?

Yes, we can do this if your location is within 10 miles from the DA postcode. If you are further out we will charge for fuel costs. You also have to make sure that the vehicle has enough space around it for our installers to access all sides and that thie vehicle isn't on the road.

My wrap is damaged, and I am missing a letter on one side, what can I do?

Please send us pictures of the damage and we will asses the problem. If this is something we can fix quickly then we can do this free of charge for you. If this is something that will take a long time and use up a lot of material then we will charge you for us to fix the damage.

I have a fleet of vehicles that need graphics on, can I get a discount for multiple vehicles?

Please email us with how many vehicles you have in your fleet and let us know if you are looking for a full wrap or liveries and we will get back to you with a quote.

Can I see any examples of your work?

Sure! Please get in touch with us and we will send you over some images of the work we have previously done.
